VSTs ?

Hi everybody.

I'm discovering reason at this moment : It's not easy to use.
I downloaded some VST's that I tried with a free software called 'minihost' but I would like to use them with reason. What's the easiest way to do that ?

You need to use a host like Cubase or Ableton to use the VSTs and Reason together easily.

Do you know if it possible to do that with NI Reaktor 5 ?

Of course. A program like Cubase or Live is a sequencer program that can host VSTs. They also support something called 'ReWire', which lets you connect Reason to the sequencer. This means the audio output of Reason goes to the sequencer program, and the sequencer can send MIDI data to Reason.
Reaktor is a VST so yes it will work too

I agree with you that Reason is quite complicated.

If you're finding Reason difficult, I would suggest staying away from Reaktor for a little while yet - it's one of the most complex VSTs out there!

if you do find reason complicated I suggest you try ableton live 5.02. I didnt find reason so easy to use either, but luckily I found Live and Im in love.
