Enable html???

Post by Hutch »

Lets enable html!!! For releases, track ids, sets and what not it would make life somewhat easier instead of multiple windows/downloads for one click action. More people will be heard and navigation will be easier!!! Beatport/soundcloud embeds please? It is 2010 and all? :)

Yes absolutely would be cool...also for videos as well. phpBB has great upgrades available to make this happen, and like you said, would keep people here rather than trying to navigate multiple tabs for media.

really?
We've had quite a few of these threads, and as far as I remember there were people who offered their help to upgrade the forum software and help with other improvements too, no?!?

@ix its not a big deal, there are guides on the phpbb site how to upgrade to the newest version. its maybe a hour of work

the phpbb software does anything for you in the upgrade process it shouldnt be a problem..

make a backup in case something doesnt work and all is fine

more advanced forum code like i'm ok with.

html i'm against! we don't need people embedding music or crap like that. besides, a lot of spammers are using html and i'd prefer if their media didn't show up!

In the upgrade I am pretty sure if you dont want to see it there is a way to disable it.
