deep/jazzy/soulful/vocal house mixes

Post by mattburns »

evening all

the restaurant i work for asked me if i could source them some music for evening times and so i'm looking for some mixes suitable for the purpose. don't want any of those awful commercial chill cds or lounge cds and was hoping some of u on here might have some suggestions. nothing too abstract or leftfield, something along the lines of henrik schwarz dj kicks (although parts of it arent really suitable either) or ame's listening mix http://soundcloud.com/ame or the like.

thanks in advance

No vocal-based but you MUST try the San Francisco Sessions mix of Mark Farina (and try the Mushroom Jazz serie as well for a more "hiphop" oriented stuff).

It is jazzy, sunny, fresh, and not cheesy at all.

I used to love the "innocent" sounding of San Francisco house. : )
