Bongos n Congo samples sources?

im on the hunt for some good congos n bongo samples, individual hits and loops.

anybody recommend any good sample cds aside from the obvious loop masters and vengeance.

You kids. bongo's are pretty cheap. I bought these for $35.00 at the pawn shop. All you need is a mic to record them. What's cool is adding your own reverb when recording by setting up the mic in different spots. Plus you can play it exactly to your liking.

Since I bought a field recorder and starting recording stuff, I haven't sampled a congo, drum, anything.

or you could enlist the help of your family

my dad dragged a tree out of the swamp

sawed it using a 6ft chainsaw

then used his lathe

cutting to the exact dimensions of an Apollo rocket nozzle

which is within a few degree's of master African d'jembe makers drums

then covered in local goat skin hide

it has three different tones

needless to say it sounds amazing
