hi,
concidering to buy this peace of hardware, it will be my first hardware, any has some cons and pro's. Pro for me should be like is pure analog.

i've had a love hate relationship with my mbase 01, at first i loved it, then i went off it, but now i'm back into it and as the mbase 11 is better spec'd, then you can't go wrong with it i reckon.

ok it only does kickdrums, no problem, it does it well. no messing with samples, just phat sound at the turn of a knob.

its not really giving you a clue as to the potential of dedicated hardware, but its cheap.

what do u guys think of the mbase 01/11 vs. the novation bass station?

i have this bassstation vst with contoller, looks ok, didn't try a lot yet, but bassstation is more for basslines, not like drums in particular?

i had a love hate relationship with my mbase01, reason was sometimes I didn't feel it fit or that I could manipulate it with extreme ease. I eventually sold it, it was tits for live shows tho.

I have a love-but-not-the-same-it-used-to-be relationship with my 01. Kind of like old guys and their long-time wives. lol

I'd be kind of lost without it... I just wish it had an adjustable pitch mod depth control though, not just envelope decay, damnit.

It seems things have not changed in that department on the 11. The onboard dynamic controls are a nice touch though.
