Am 18. Januar 2010 von 19-23 Uhr folgt der zweite Teil unserer Produktionsendung mit Floriand Meindl. Nachdem Florian im ersten Teil (siehe Mitschnitt unten) zusammen mit euch einen fertigen Loop produziert hat, wird er nun im zweiten Teil diesen Loop zu einem ganzen Track arrangieren. Und ihr seid wieder live dabei, auf dem Video und Audio-Stream. Diesmal haben wir wesentlich mehr Kapazitäten auf dem Videostream, sodass jeder Interessierte zuschauen können sollte.

Zum ersten Mal hat ein Techno/House-Produzent zusammen mit den Zuschauern/Hörern und Chatteilnehmern einen Techno- Track produziert – alles live im Radio und auf dem Videostream! Vom Klangdesign einzelner Töne bis zum Arrangement eines Tracks hat Florian Meindl (Flash, Trapez, MyBestFriend …) jeden einzelnen Schritt live für euch gemacht und genau erklärt, was er tut. Gleichzeitig gab er viele Tipps, was man beachten sollte.

Teil 1 und 2 unser Produktionssendung stehen nun zum Download bereit. Schaut euch auch die Videos auf Youtube an, da könnt ihr Florian zuschauen, wie er produziert und musiziert. Im ersten Teil ging es um die Live-Produktion eines Loops. Nachdem dies auf viel Aufmerksamkeit im Netz stieß, entschlossen wir uns noch eine zweite Sendung hinterzuschieben: Teil 2, mit der Live-Arrangierung des Loops zu einem ganzen Track. Florian wird den Track zuhause bald zuende produzieren. Anschließend könnt ihr ihn euch hier kostenlos runterladen, im Club spielen, euren Freunden geben, etc.

Insgesamt habt ihr nun 8 Stunden Audiomaterial des gesamten Entstehungsprozesses (vom Erstellen des Loops bis hin zum Arrangement) als kostenlosen Download zur Verfügung, sodass ihr nicht nur den fertigen Track hören und spielen, sondern auch seine Entstehung und Entwicklung Schritt für Schritt nachvollziehen könnt. Wir sind natürlich auch gespannt darauf, wie ihr diese Idee der Liveproduktion und Übertragung derselbigen im Internet mit anschließendem Download aufnehmt und weiterentwickelt. Wir würde uns außerdem freuen, wenn ihr bei Soundcloud in der Timeline den Produktionsprozess in seinen einzelnen Schritten markiert und diskutiert.

Hello everybody, just as promised we are adding a remix competion to the track, which Florian Meindl produced live during two 4 hour lasting WebTV shows @ Berlin Mitte Institut.

Start: 22.02.2010, end: 22.03.2010 12pm CET. Until 5th of April 2010 we will decide for the two winners

In his early production time Florian used to be a big fan of these remix competitions too, so he is very happy to host one with us. The two best remixes (or even more, if there are really good ones) will be released on FLASH Recordings together with the original, maybe even as a 12" vinyl release. Depends on the quality of the remixes. The judging jury will consist of Florian Meindl, Kandel and Fresh Meat. Florian will be the uber-decider. Let your creativity flow, for us it does not matter which genres it will be or even more experimental. Can be a groovy clubtrack, or listening only. We dont care, we want good music !

Remix contest finished!

Thank you very much for your contributions. Many high quality remixes are amongst, so we will have tough decisions to make. Over 197 tracks have been submitted! A very big success for this contest, thank you for your participation. During the next days Florian, Fresh Meat and Kandel will get together, listen to every single remix, make favourites and decide until the 5th of April who are the chosen ones, how many will be released and how we will release. You are welcome to listen through the reworks yourself and give your opinons in the Soundcloud comment timeline. Ladies and gentleman, here are the tunes to listen to and talk about. Pre-selection made !

Hello everybody ! Last Tuesday Florian, Matthias and Jan sat together to make a pre-selection for the tracks to be released – see blog link below. We have not fully made up your minds yet and want you to give the tracks below some very close listening. Tell us: Which tracks should be released and why ? What makes them release-worthy ? We also integrated a poll, where you can vote for your favourite tracks. – up to five. But the vote won't have any influence on our final decision – it's just feedback for you and the remixers. So be fair and honest, there is no need to come back every day and vote for you own remix – won't count anyway and you would take the piss of yourself only. So – boys and girls – here is the final pre-selection list: Tell us what you think !
