what I've read so many times in the last months, and really pisses me off is that many newcomer artists "allow themselves" to put
(example) MINUS behind their artist names. what's wrong with these people??
just because richie hawtin has featured a track or remix of one of "these" artists for a MIX COMPILATION doesn't mean that they are artists of that label.
i don't get it or is it just another "oh it's 2009 - everything is allowed" way of pretending things?!
my goodness, it's SO damn ignorant and it's not the way it works!
who are these "artists" trying to fool?
Surely most of you know how it shouldn't be, but there's more than a few out there doing these things and others follow this trend and continue to ABUSE NAMES....
had to be said!
BIG misunderstanding / abuse of being "featured"

you're right..i don't want to argue. i just felt like it finally had to be mentioned (even if it's often not needed) to be read by the ones constantly doing it!jaco wrote:from my point of view there's non need of arguing about it, since anyone who has a bit of common sense(like you) already know that is baloney...
if anyone i was doing business with did this intentionally to promote themselves, i would sever all ventures with them immediately for being downright retarded.
that's a major breach of trust, and severe lack of forethought on their part. doesn't bode well for a working relationship.
