Strange vocal effect.

Post by Dan C »

Has anyone got any idea how to get similar results to the pitched down vocals in this track. They can be heard best between the 1:35 - 2:05 min mark. Ive tried messing with pitch and flange setting in Live 8 but im not getting anywhere near the ones in this track. Any help would be appreciated. :D

since you are using ableton. try this one. you might mess around with the automation or lfo portion of this tool. maybe try stacking them, combining with other effects to come up with something unique and interesting.

really if you aren't finding the effect... through experimentation... just ask yourself... why are u needing this for your song? is this the only way you can express your idea? is it because some client or customer is telling you that you need it?

hahahaha come on man.... maybe he just likes this sound and wants to make his own rendition of it. he never said he would copy it 100%. man, those know it all's.... pffff

@topicstarter: try the pingpong (something like that) delay, you can get some cool effects out of that thing also!
