i'm on the hunt for a new flight case / bag for myself since i'm traveling more and more lately, but i have relatively specific requirements for what i want it to be...
http://www.magma-bags.de/produkte/digi-trolley-e.php3
i'm in love with the above bag because it has everything i want - storage for about 30 records, my laptop could fit in it (i have a 15.4" screen lenovo), all the serato gear will fit along with headphones and such, its padded nicely, and its on nice wheels with a good telescoping handle, and it looks like it could fit in the overhead of most planes.
the only downside is that i can't find anyone in the usa that sells magma bags, and shipping from places that do is around 120$us, which is astronomical.
does anyone know of something similar, or have another good recommendation for me? help is greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance...

headliner doesn't fit but half of my request...
and i used to work at turntable.lab and can vouch for how nice those bags are, but they're overpriced, if you ask me. next time you're in nyc, kenneth, i'll take you to get one. i can probably get it on discount, too.

okay, agreed. It's not a trolley, but you really need that?cloutier wrote:cloutier wrote:everything i want - storage for about 30 records, my laptop could fit in it (i have a 15.4" screen lenovo), all the serato gear will fit along with headphones and such, its padded nicely, and its on nice wheels with a good telescoping handle, and it looks like it could fit in the overhead of most planes.

Computer fits, and fits in overhead compartments too.
Okay, I'll get my ass over. I'm looking at something like Feb/March 2010.

can't fit 30+ records, and i'd like to keep my spine in decent condition. its already bad enough after a couple car accidents and scoliosis.patrick bateman wrote:okay, agreed. But I've had big troubles finding the right bag for a digital DJ. I'm coming closer and closer to the fact that maybe it's not neccessary to have a bag where the serato box etc fits into small compartments, because most of these bags are just not really handy.
I have the UDG creator bag, it works, but is big as a mother fucking airplane..
