opinions on Jacko's future career...

Post by nowayback »

i need your opinions for a PR project... here's the subject:

"Despite the not guilty verdict, his career and finances hang precariously in the
balance. His advisors know the only hope is to resurrect the Michael Jackson brand.

What do you think this next step should be for the Michael Jackson brand? Think
about who his brand should be talking to and how best to reach them."

Please share your thoughts on how can he save himself, career-wise.
i'd be especially interested to get some points of view from ppl living in America.

I think the only way for MJ to get back is to be EXTREMELY humble about things...

the image he used to portray (that of an almost godlike figure) can't be used again

he needs to do something very worthy, maybe become a bit of an environmentalist (I know he's a mentalist already, so it shouldn't be too hard) and start persuading people that the kyoto protocol is a good thing... something like that... but without any 'I'm the man to save the planet' undertones... everything needs to be understated and 100% believeable

as mentioned he has a loyal fanbase, who'll always be there, but he needs to do something to disassociate from his previous public image...
