Another distro going bankrupt?

I just heard the rumor that Venus has gone bankruptcy... not sure if this is true but it seems really true. If so, my label will need to turn around and look for another one. Frustrating.

Oh no, that's no good.

I was also told to stay away from Venus from a lot of my contacts, but still it sucks.

i haven't heard any of this, and a friend of mine is running a label with Venus
I'll ask him

the music bizz has been an insecure place for so many years now, if you're in it for the money, get a job or become tiesto...

but it's hard to tell what's true and what's not based on rumours...

I didn't thought they had a website at all. Last year when I checked they didn't...

Sadly it IS true. They have gone bankrupt. Talked to 2 Canadians last night who's distributed by them, and they confirmed the rumours, sadly.
