dumb¦found 2nd edition is on the way! our second party will be on good friday and the start of a long easter w/end. we've been busy finding djs and producers to fit the occasion and we can proudly say we have done good - a live performance from Alex Fisher of London's very own After Dinner label and a DJ set from Grain Record's co-founder and producer John Connell will be among the musical treats. as for Jan, we would like to announce his inclusion to the dumbfoundsound family and are inviting him back for another blinding set. our residents Frido Kudaku and Andy Blech as usual will warm and spice things up with their own selection of records. see you in april!

Alex Fisher
Alexandre Didierjean aka Alex Fisher started his career as a musician by playing in various rock and jazz formations before moving to London and began djing under the DJ Juan pseudonym, playing progressive and click house through to break core. Since 2004 Alex has adopted the Alex Fisher pseudonym, specializing in tech-house production and live performance. He has developed his signature style of warm often slightly melancholic sounds combined with nervous and twisty beats.
In collaboration with Andi Sparks, Alex set up After-Dinner.net in 2004. This platform for electronic music promotes live events accross London and also releases music through its netlabel operations. For After-Dinner.net Alex acts as sound engineer for the live events and is in charge of the mastering for the recordings.
John Connell
John began djing house and techno in the UK in 1996, moving to Tokyo in 2000. Since then he has held residenscies at Womb, Air and Real Grooves @ Yellow and now Unit. He has played with the likes of Richie Hawtin (Minus), Ricardo Villalobos (Cocoon, Playhouse), Matthew Dear (Spectral), Mathew Jonson (Wagon Repair) and Sven Vaeth (Cocoon) among many others.
Grain Records is a project he started in 2006 with Niklas Niemenen and Jason Hopfner, on which he also produces. Tracks on the label have been supported by Akufen (Musique Risque, Perlon), Loco Dice (Cadenza), Magda (Minus), Audio Werner (Perlon) and Vincent Lemieux (Musique Risque, MUTEK).
