a stand alone midi lfo, something i can chain before or after a vsti to use to automate a paramater that isnt supported by the vstis inbuilt lfo?

Just automate the lfo curve by recording yourself twisting a knob and then let it loop.

you can do this and beyond with max for live.
just be patient, but when it's there it will rock the boat for

In nuendo there is a midi effect called "autopan" - that does the same job...
