midi over tcp/ip?

is it possible to send midi data to another computer via a network, with drivers or something ?

Maybe you should look into mLAN (MIDI data over FireWire)

Yeah, it's definitely possible. If you use OS X, you can configure Core Audio to work with MIDI over the network. For Windows, ipMIDI (http://www.nerds.de/en/ipmidi.html) will do it.

so nerdy, need like a huge lan with everyone connected. It would be like a geeky theatre production with a conductor..
