i tried to create a kind of allegory between what the roads are and the death of an indiviual.
And basically, what i tried to do was show the path of what a soul (in this case JFKs soul) would take once entered into a different realm. hence the faster speeds and the change in colors. also, and i know this might sound as a bit of a cliche, but the idea was that he was travelling towards the light at the end of the tunnel (or path) hence the sun setting in the horizon... but would end up getting a bit lost... so the soul starts looking around and starts moving backwards back to previous intersections.
i'm sure that idea didnt come across as straightforward in the film compared to what i just explained, but then again, straightforward has never quite been my thing
