mod for the request / id room...

so since pretty much my main job on this forum is track identifications, and i keep a close watch on it, i'm nominating myself to help keep that room in tip-top shape.

locking threads that have been completed, trying to keep a lock on duplicate threads, and possibly editing them all to make them easier to read for people would probably be on my first orders of business.

anyone have a grievance they want to air?

you're a great asset to this community and ive agreed with everything you've said in the past in that forum. you've got my vote.

it would be nice if there was a sticky that has rules for iding, such as use direct links instead of rapidshare/megaupload, and a list of such sites like zshare, youtube, etc. also maybe lay some ground rules for how much a thread can be bumped by the original poster or something like that.

also part of what i wanted to do...make a huge guidelines post with pictures and step-by-step stuff to make it far easier for everyone.
