trying new setup

hi folks my name is yair etziony i produce microhouse and minimal music for some time now with releases on some labels like neo ouija, milleplateaux and such. i work alot on my computer, but lately i feel like buffing up my live set with drum machines and such.
any recomenadtions? good drum machines? good synths and sequncers?
i also use laptop.

What's your budget? Elektron Machinedrum is a damn good drumcomputer but a little expensive. I think there are Machinedrum users on this forum, better ask them :)

Obviously the easiest way to get all your drumming needs is to use software such as Reason and link it up via ableton or just play it stand-alone and it has or you can get every piece of sound ever made or made famous by drum machines of the past, present, and probally the future; granted im thinking you may be looking for that distinct analog sound, same reason I started to collect some hardware but have been dissapointed so far at the limitations, although some may call it adding to the creativity by juxtiposing the minimaltivity...not sure yet :/

i can use alot of drum machines and stuff from reaktor.
i want to broad the live set up outside of the pc
anyway i bought a 707 drum machine from ebay:)
andmight get a nord micro modular 2
this looks like a kool setup - with my laptop
