Decimal strives to deconstruct, analyze, rebuild, and reshape theory and technology searching for new directions in techno. Taking cues from the sounds of Detroit, Sweden, and Birmingham, he wraps muscular grooves around experimental rhythm arrangements. Exploring fresh ideas in kinetics and sound design, his tracks stay true to space and minimalism. Today Decimal expands upon powerful technique and research to reinvent the experiences of both performer and audience with his relentless live sets. His combination of experimental spatial distortions and complex rhythms has earned him a growing reputation as an inventive producer and engaging live performer.

Decimal’s Live PA’s blur the boundaries between techno and house, with moments that range from deep and dreamy to rowdy and percussive. With an academic approach to music partially inspired by deconstructionist philosophy, he breaks techno programming into bizarre asymmetrical loops, all the while holding down a groove. His live performance is driving, hypnotic, and improvosationall; using a combination of hardware and Ableton, he completely restructures and re-loops his productions on the fly, creating a unique dance floor experience each time he rattles the bass bins.

Kiddo has shown her mettle in all types of environments. Whether it's an outdoor festival, a cave in Carbondale, radio programs, TV spots, loft parties, galleries, lounges, restaurants, or one of Chicago's many fine dancing establishments, she has a knack for tailoring her DJ sets to every type of occasion.

Influenced by the sounds of Berlin, Detroit, and Chicago, Kiddo's style is a melding of numerous genres of techno and house music. Her sets may range anywhere from glitchy, shuffling micro-house to sexy, melodic tech-house to more dark and sinister techno. Lately she's been moving the dance floors with seamless mixes of up-tempo tech-house and minimal techno with the occasional jackin' cut thrown in for good measure. She is known for her enthusiasm behind the turntables, connecting with the dancefloor through the combination of a charismatic smile and energetic mixing.

First experimenting with turntables in 1999, DJ Red quickly immersed himself into the underground electronic music scene throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Attending raves and any other underground party he could find. He immediately started buying house records and honing his skills playing house parties throughout Milwaukee.

In 2002 DJ Red, playing a mixture of house, hip hop and drum and bass, started playing regular gigs around Milwaukee. In 2004 his sound began to move away from house, hip hop and drum and bass, and DJ Red began experimenting with a mixture of tech-house, minimal and electro.

Now with his own Prescribed Events, DJ Red is pushing the envelope with his tech / electro / minimal style, playing alongside Green Velvet, Miles Maeda, Kyle Geiger and LA Riots.

In 1994, Sir Fice was exposed to electronic music. A year later he bought a copy of Plastikman’s “Sheet One,” and became completely immersed in the sound. On New Year’s Eve 1995, he was taken to his first Rave in Milwaukee, and found the music’s missing link. Knowing he had to be a part of it, he started frequenting events all around Wisconsin and Illinois in 1996.

Sir Fice started buying house records in 1998, practicing his skills and playing small house parties. He landed a gig at The Bassment, and proceeded to get regular bookings around the city. After starting to progress his house sound into a faster, harder pace, he moved into techhouse, and soon after, full blown techno. Sir Fice was receiving regular bookings in Madison and Milwaukee, pushing techno wherever people would listen. By 2004, he had started experimenting with minimal techno, and had grown a large collection of old techno classics which he couldn’t stop playing.

In 2005, he, along with the rest of AudioTribe, started their weekly event HomeBrew which went for 2 years, in which time his style progressed and he started to play a mix of edgier minimal and oldschool techno, and has been pushing that style ever since. In February 2008 he and 3 other local promoters launched Projekt, a monthly event specializing in bringing world class, boundary pushing techno and minimal to Milwaukee.

Sir Fice has played alongside artists such as Steve Bug, Derek Plaslaiko, Acid Circus, Maetrik, Punisher, Robert Armani and Woody McBride.
