Mobile line-in recorder

Post by stelmo »

Hi,

I'm looking for a simple device that would make it easy to record sets on the go.

Requirements:
- possibility to record WAV or at least 128kbps MP3 stereo sound through line-in
- long lasting battery, have to be possible to record like 10 hours at a stroke
- adjustable recording volume
- bonus: easily transfer recorded files over USB to your computer.

Is there any devices like this or do I have to go back and get a Minidisc?

I have an H2. My only complaint is that I can't attenuate the volume coming in... the record output on my mixer comes out super hot, so I have to use a different mixer before it reaches the H2.

Some of the small IRiver players can record line in and have USB.
