Barcelona. Where?

Post by Tromczynski »

Yo!

I'll be in Barcelona on Saturday (will stay there for 8 days). Where should I go? Any good parties for the forthcoming weekend? Which clubs are worth going? Even non-party related, just places I NEED to see etc.

I know you guys know all the places in the whole World so hopefully you can help me and my missus ;)

Hope to have some good entertaining and chillout time there

This is where I'm staying exactly

Thanks in advance <3

Avoid anything that is at the Rambla, especially the food if you dont want to eat something that suits dogs more than humans.

i can confirm this

we went to a little restaurant called 'revolutionary' or something, it was ace. they didnt speak english (so you know you're in good hands) and food was excellent and very cheap.

i'd say stay away from rambla no matter what, unless you have to walk along it to get to the club (i.e. moog).

yep, moog is a nice little club. perpendicular of the rambla (crossing in the two ways) there are two parallel streets with lots of shops. a nice district to visit is "gracia" more spanish people there, better food and not so expensive. on the barceloneta there are sometimes also little beach partys. montjuic could also be a nice place to visit. la terrazza is also a nice club (unfortunately the lineups not so much)...

La Terrazzza is not what i used to be since they had to build walls around it and have a quite lame music limit.
Razzmatazz is a huge place, normally with some different music styles from the ground floor up to the roof-floor. Nice place for sure and worth visiting!

if you're going to razzmatazz, just make sure you're there early if there are big names playing (during the season of course). when we went there during sonar 2006 the queue was like 500m long (at least) - took over an hour standing there waiting to get it (was the annual väth party during sonarweek).
