Propellerhead Reason 4.0?

Has anyone used Propellerhead Reason 4.0 yet?

i'm thinking of buying it.

I currently use Reason 2.5

It's worth buying it.

There are lot's of new features and also the sound is better. It's also nicer working with the version 4.0

if you have no plans of moving to ableton/cubase/etc, reason 4 is a big improvement over 2.5 :)

I wouldnt say the upgrade has improved the sound quality. I'm pretty certain the sound engine has stayed the same.

the jump from 2.5 to 4 is worth it. thor is a really nice synth and you get a compressor with sidechain and another crap EQ from version 3. i hate the EQ unit's in Reason, why don't the put a decent one in there?

I've heard they re-wrote (coded/whatever) the engine...

They didn't. It's the same 32 bit floating point summing thingie Reason's always had.
