Songs you secretly love!

Post by AK »

After a good Sunday drinking session, it occured to me that I immediately put on the tunes from my youth for 'nostalgic' and 'good time' purposes.

I must admit, i never listen to techno or mnml or similar in my daily routine of song playing. It's al the commercial stuff I used to dig as a kid.

Here's my Sunday afternoon drunk playist:

1. Kajagoogoo - Too Shy.

2. Blondie - Atomic.

3. Cindy Lauper - Time After Time.

4. About to turn on the Specials...

I'm 31 btw, but some tunes live with you forever man. If you are around my age, name some co's I hardly remember the 90's for drugs. I just remembered 'Olive-You're Not Alone'. Still love that chord seq even today.

Drunk rant over.

there's absolutely nothing wrong with atomic.......
i'm a bit partial to the old danny wilson stuff (mary's prayer, second summer of love, davy, never gonna be the same) and of course steely dan.
if I've been pissed enough, I've been known to drop a few soft cell records as well

Guilty pleasures, isn't that what they're called? ;)

My 'non-cool' faves; Kate Bush, Steely Dan, Kylie, Brandy, Destiny's Child, Talk Talk and Donna Summer.
