Post by Opuswerk »

Hello fellow mnmlers,

Here's a new track from us called Onpa. Was done this we after some very nice partying in sunny Berlin.

You can listen to it here: http://www.virb.com/opuswerk second track in the player.

Would love your opinion and thoughts about this one.

Hey hello opus !
Take a heard of your tracks on my computer headphones !
From what i hear there is lots of interesting sound , nice melodic construction, congrats !
To my taste, the pad which enter at 34s is too clear and i don't like the way that the hit hat enter in the track. Some more distortion on your synths may be an interesting thing to give power and life to your track !
By the way nice work man !

See you

Very progressive track.J like the hit hats. But for me hit hats should be just a little bit louder/ stronger. Nice simply melody.

hi opuswerk, just came back from my exam (wich I fucked up a little) and the track calmed me down :)

the track sounds really good imo, the synth that comes in could use some more distortion yes, i had that feeling to

and i would bring the hi hat in together when the kick/beat comes back in, it does sound a little to sudden in the middle of that break.

so... acctually everything was allready said :)

good work!

(erver send a demo to border community, I really thing you fit their sound, maybe your lucky :p)

thanks for the comments!

i'll work on that hi hat and get the pad to be more interesting. About the synth, i'll try and add some distortion to it. make it darker, grittier.

One question thaough for those with a sub. How's the low end doing?
i can't really check it because of my neighbourghs....

nice track once again guys - very clean sounding - perhaps indeed sometimes 'rough it up' a bit:

feel that the low end could be turned up - bit hollow there (due to volume) - more bass will give the track more attitude i feel / more powerful

also the snare is a bit flat... probably by choice, maybe try a rougher one?
