Mr. Rohr is back with another wicked release on Clink! Despite his heavy touring schedule, Tony has taken the time to make us another eloquently composed EP, titled "Little Noises for Big Rooms".
This superbly crafted deliverance gives us yet another glimpse into the magic behind his captivating Live PA, which has been keeping Tony busier than ever this year. His latest expression for 013 brings us closer to the mind behind his unique and absorbing music, and each track connects us to the dark, quirky, thumping minimal techno and house sound that Clink is persistently earning a following for.
Coupled with his recent and upcoming projects with Tim Xavier (Afternoon Coffee Boys), Alexi Delano, and Dave Shokh (Dirka Dirka), Tony is becoming one of the most interesting and diverse producers of 2008, and we believe that we are hearing some of his best work to date. His long and creative release history seems to be coming to a complex and groovy resolution, apparent in the animated synthesis and masterful delay manipulation of his mind-tripping melodies and atmospherics. This, layered over a powerful combination of percussion, bass and excellent sound quality, makes all three tracks on this EP flow alluringly from one transition to the next. Clink is very proud to present this release for 013!
