Hello from Asia

I'm originally from Florida. I now live in Hong Kong, although I've been in Japan for about four months. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

I got into dance music after going to a psytrance rave on some remote beach of an island in HK. Got into minimal about 8 hours later when I was still tripping my ass off on a library computer, staring at the Windows visualizer while listening to Heartthrob, DJ Koze, Audion, and all that other stuff that was on the blogs around Fall 2006. Been DJing since Summer 2007 and played a couple gigs in Florida and Japan.

My tastes are pretty varied. I actually like DJing really loud, dark electro house kind of stuff the most, and also anything that could be described as "psychedelic" (in the 60s-70s sense, not psytrance), which, in my opinion, includes a lot of deep house. I'm mainly coming here to learn more about production and find some new minimal artists besides the obvious ones and the people on the Beatport top 10.
