samples sound different in live

Hey,

Got a small problem. Again

I just downloaded a kick sample after prelistening to it on the website. But it sounds totaly different when i play it in live.

any ideas?

maybe its a different sample or maybe the demo includes processing?

Play it in wavelab media player or somthething....

the same thing happened to me the other day.
made a kick drum on soundforge and when i opened it in ableton y sounded different. i unwarped it (try that) but i don't know, to my ears it was sounding different.
