I'm going over the ocean to visit my brother who lives somewhere in Orange County end of next week, and since I'd like to take a chance to visit LA maybe a few days I just wanna ask what's going on there.
Any good record stores to visit? Any interesting shops that the usual tourist doesn't find by himself? Comics shops maybe? Since the dollar is so weak right now I really can take my big, big Euros and get something for it. I need to find a good cinema too, since I'm pretty much a film guy and LA should be on of the film centres of the world.
How is public transportation there? You get easy from one point to the other?
And if anyone knows a nice party to hang out some time between the 15th and the 24th of March, I'd be happy to know.
Well, if anyone has any idea about anything... Any help is welcome!
What's up in LA?

Yeah, okay, at least you guys have some fun then!
Dunno about SF. In LA I at least know Mikael Stavöstrand and he said there might be some party or something. Well let's see...
Isn't anyone from LA here? I heard it is supposed to be a big city or sth. With lotsa people in it.
