After a successful and joyous first couple of editions of 'Redevice invites...' at various locations in Amsterdam, we are now ready to kick-start 2008 in gear with a follow up edition at our new homebase Studio 80, and with 5 esteemed new guests, Theodor Zox, Marc Schneider, Peel Seamus, Wesdex and Robotfunk.

Copenhagen is one of the most creative electronic minimal nests of the last couple of years where people like Trentemøller, Martinez or Hansen & Daniel, and labels like Tic Tac Toe, 3rd Floor or Echochord have been greatly productive and creative. Theodor Zox is no exception and after a couple 12"s on Morris-Audio, Neopren and Trenton, he is now on the ramp to be known as a superb dancefloor experimentalist, exploring and refining house music.

Another figurehead in today’s electronic music scene is Hamburg’s influential DJ and producer Marc Schneider, who got his first taste of dance music through the golden age of Hip Hop before visits to the legendary, groundbreaking club Front and other venues like Opera House and Unit introduced him to house and techno in ’91. Never having missed any major development or pivotal release in quality dance music, Marc can flex his DJ-muscles in so many different ways and sensibly guide the crowd through a tasteful and kicking mixture of all things house.

Peel Seamus
is well known as founder of Delsin Records. His solo releases on the same imprint - characterized by a downtempo vein with lush sounds and with a clear techno edge, have earned him comparisons going in directions like Ian O'Brien and Carl Craig.

Redevice accessary supreme Wesdex and regulars Pep and Frodo will serve as microhouse beacon points throughout the night, with their thick simmering narcotic grooves - tight, uncompromising and unique.
Framing this edition within a visual context is realtime audiovisual performer and renowned software developer Robotfunk.

It all adds up – so party hard!
