Eric started DJ’ing in 2000 but has been a passionate music lover his entire life. In the course of 20
years he has taught himself 4 different instruments. This creativity, ambition and focus is what drives
his perpetual quest for the creation of new, unconventional sounds; and from the looks of his release
schedule it seems to be generating some attention. Even though he has only been producing Techno
since 2006 he has already got a floor filler on New York’s Wolf and Lamb label, “Headphone Hairstyle”
which was placed on lists or enthusiastically played by the likes of Marco Carola and Ricardo Villalobos.
Eric has played across the United States as well as in Berlin and is going back to Europe in March for
stints in Austria and Switzerland. His first full release "waiting for weird" is coming out on Detroit's own
D Records and promises to uphold this young gun's strong presence in the scene.

"Waiting For Weird"
You know that feeling right when you are starting to dream?
When the reality around you starts twisting and disassembling?
Colors are turning into sound, the inside of you is becoming the
outside of you, and the song you are listening to is starting to
be the song of the whole world at that moment? That my friend
is the perfect time to play this track. Clickety wicketys, insane
birdcall remnants floating on the wind, and a chunky staccato
bassline make this track a perfect segue into the weird.

"I'm Hungry"
A repetitive bongo type loop on delay and percolating
mid-high sounds bring you in while a super long and low
bassline rises up from the underworld and invites you to
bust out your favorite slomo dance moves or maybe to
sit back on the couch and dream about bubbles and
lightning and maybe even a few zebras.

"Gentleman's Club(No Hats)"
If the title track of this ep is “waiting for weird” then this
trackwould be what you hear once you have arrived at
weird. the “no hats” phrase has a double meaning relating
to thegeneral rule at gentlemen’s clubs of wearing no hats,
and on a sonic level stating that there are no hi-hats in this
track at all. quite a novel concept for a minimal dance track!
weird vocals come in and out, sounding like the ghost of a
jazz club mc, swimming in the ethers of atmospheric techno
swirls.
