hi,, im looking at gettin a mac g5 , im not shure at any spec's i can hav added and was wondering if anybody has any info,, i will b running logik and sum hardware synths,, i have about 2000 to spend,, thanx kirk

get a new mac with an intel chip in it

(g5 powerpc chips suck these days)

mac pro / imac / macbook pro

logic studio 8 works better on the new macs

max out your Ram 4gb or 16gb in the mac pro

I work at apple

yeah i dont think thats.......necessary

unless your doing HD editing or making high res files for bollboards

4gb is more than enough. you can always add more later if needed.
