New Minimal Label. Demos Please.

Post by acos1 »

Hi i am in the process of setting up a new digital label. It will be available on all the big download sites. Its style is obviously minimal so i knew the best place to look would be here for talent. Its still in the setting up stages but i would like people to send me on demos know just to get a feel for who and what is out there at the moment. Also a bit about yourself, myspace details would be great too.

Anyways all demos to

Cheers!

We are interested, but before anything could you please post some more info about the label?

Without sounding rude, why should we send our demo to your yet unexistant label instead of one already established?

cheers!

Thats a very good question and im glad you asked because id just like to make what im asking clear. The label is called Sparse Audio and is just getting the wheels rolling in the setting up stages. It will focus on the tough minimal sound, think beyer, delanio, osuna etc.... It will be available in all major download stores.... beatport, juno etc...
To be honest im not asking for demos as such but just asking for talented producers to send on tracks just to get an idea of who/what is out there. In honesty the label will not be setup for quite a well (months) so i know that most of the tracks im sent will be signed in the mean time from when they are sent to me. Im just looking to create a shortlist of talented new/established producers that i know will be worth following in the future. I wont be signing any of the tracks im sent in most likely hood but just seeing who's worth looking at.
So really dont think of it as sending on demos as such just think of it as possibly opening a door for yourself if you get me. Hope that helped mate. ;)

Curious how you are getting on beatport. I have done all but put a gun to someones head trying to get on there and they just play stupid and redirect me to people who can't help me (if they even reply).

you need to find a music distributor and have a label pretty much... from what i gathered...

they will decide if its worth it for them to put your label on the site.
