don't bother with whitechappel its a sh!t hole, i think you would be better suited bethnal green it's still close enough to the action, just not as dirty.
i grew up on brady st and its only got worse since.
your best bet i would say is the old street area if you can find somewhere affordable, seeing you looking houseshare that shouldn't be a problem. it's close to shoreditch and hoxton and looks much cleaner.
