Been there two nights in a row just a couple of months before Giuliani
shut it down. Friday was Digweed, Saturday was Junior Vasquez.
I remember the club boasting about its Phazon soundsystem and
indeed the sound was really good. Atmosphere was weird though,
especially the first night. Can't explain that, just nothing like the
clubs i had visited around Europe.

I undug this flyer from my visit... Richie & Acquaviva 10 bucks cheaper
than PVD or Digweed: prog trance was mint back then i suppose :P

I went to TWILO once back in the late '90's for their Sasha/Digweed residency anniversary. I was a bit disappointed possibly due to all of the hype I'd heard about the place.

I arrived at 6am, still $30 for entry. Ok. Water was $2 at the bar. Ok. I was pleased to see a good intl' crowd & not the disgusting, special K drug fest I'd experienced at Vinyl a few hours earlier. The Phazon system was eh. Nothing amazing & needed to be equalized. I've definitely heard MUCH better at lesser known venues.

Digweed's set was horrible! I actually debated leaving but I surely wanted to hear Sasha. Plus, I ran into some old friends that I had not seen in years. Sasha definitely made up for Digger's set & TWILO's short comings. Mind blowing to say the least. Especially, this being his pre-Ableton days & an all vinyl, four deck explosion!! Ace!!! :D

I started going to twilo in the summer of 98. The parties were musically diverse, the crowd really fun, but sasha and digweed really, really exploded at hte beginning of 99 and the hype and crowds did take a lot of hte experience away from me. Still, the subject here is club and not party. I started working there in feb 00

I would not trust the ears of anyone coming over from vinyl. That system was beat to sh!t.

Fuse (brussels)
Silo (Louvain)

Been going to those clubs since the early days, and they are still the cream of the belgian scene.

Both clubs have a wonderfull D&B Soundsystem en the best Line ups!
