No thread on Mr Curtis Jones and his wonderful world of madness yet. That's gotta change!
I'm a big fan of the old Green Velvet tracks, especially the old EPs (also collected as "The Nineties") and his first LP "Constant Chaos". Some of the old tracks are very reduced and concentrated, like "Abduction", "Killer Bees", "Genedefekt" and of course "La La Land", plus the vocals are usually hilariously funny. The tracks are still a bomb in any techno, house or minimal set. Timeless!
Btw: Does anyone have Green Velvet lyrics, or would care writing some? I must admit I have sometimes trouble understanding everything, as a non-native, and would really like to get the full vocals to his old tracks like "Flash", Water Molecule", "The Stalker" or "Abduction". The only ones I found on the net were "La La Land" and "Genedefekt". So if you're going into listening to old Green Velvet records some time, just grab a pencil, you'd be a great help!
