a lot of great tracks from top-notch producers are made with this synth.

if you have the money, you should get one. it wont lose value like most gear, which is huge. it's a great investment.

I had the first edition one about five or so years ago.. It was fantastic but, alas, I needed some money and ended up keeping the Roland V-Synth, which I also no longer have.. :?

Anyway, ever since I sold it I have wanted to get another.

I have the Monomachine. I like it very much but it doesn't sound as analog as I wish it would though. Perfect if you're into M_nus etc. I have the Machinedrum too and I would rather buy a Machinedrum than a Monomachine .

Exactly. As far as a Monomachine goes, most any Waldorf will put the hurt on it.. A Machinedrum, however, is a classic instrument that will go down in history.

Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

The Monomachine is good stuff, but one has to really tweak the sounds and work the sequencer with parameter locks to get all goodies out of it.

Sometimes I think it sounds too cold for me, but then I just run it through some external stuff to add warmth.

I like it, but I love the machinedrum. :)
