24" iMac or Mac Pro ?

I see that "all" superstar producers use imac, why?
somebody know?
Mac Pro is better, so wonder why all use imac.

want to buy mac pro or imac. have one mac book pro.

because the imac is powerful enough for what they need it for and a lot less expensive.

imac save a lot of space. you also have less cables because you don't need a monitor.

I don`t really think they use Imacs for production, most of them have G5 or Pro rigs.

definitely the mac pro !!

for the simple fact its expandable, add up 16gb of ram, 4 spaces for HD

maybe even new chips, they have kept the same case design for this reason...

the imac is great for someone doing certain tasks

but the mac pro crushes anything you throw at it.

I loaded about 45 video clips all playing on the desktop simultaneously and the mac pro didnt even hiccup

awesome workstation, I'm saving for one myself
