------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After years of being in bands and producing hip hop music, Daniel had a surprise success with his first 12' released on +8 records while still in film school near Toronto, Canada in 1990. The record was "Technarchy" co-produced by Richie Hawtin and John Aquaviva, and it spurred a move by him to Detroit, Mi. After touring and recording extensively throughout 1991 and 1992, including a 38-date American tour opening for Moby and The Prodigy, Daniel left +8 to start his own company, Accelerate Communications in 1992.
With Accelerate Daniel released a small string of influential releases. He reduced the Detroit techno sound into funky, streamlined grooves. The formula proved to be successful and helped launch a new minimal aesthetic in techno and house music.
With the overwhelming success of his "Losing Control" single (an international underground hit in 1994), Daniel set up Seventh City Distribution. For the next four years he worked to assist smaller Midwest labels to get distribution in overseas markets. He helped finance the start-ups of several labels including Anthony Shakir's "Frictional" and Dopplereffekt’s "Dataphysix". He also created three new labels - 7th City, which to this day releases cutting-edge techno music, Elevate (with then unknown house producer Theo Parrish) and Harmonie Park (originally with Rich Wade). Daniel also co-owned "Rotate", a record store across the river from Detroit in Windsor Canada for two years.
Because of the workload of owning and operating many ventures his music production ceased for a few years. In 2000 he released his first mix c.d. with Tresor Records entitled "The Button Down Mind of Daniel Bell" and in a surprise move relocated to Berlin, Germany. In Berlin he has developed and promoted new talent for his 7th City label and has quietly restarted his recording career with a series of remixes for a diverse range of artists including, John Tejada, Pantytec, Akufen, and Anthony Shakir. In February 2003 he will release his second mix cd "The Button-Down Mind Strikes Back" on the Paris-based label Logistic. In the near future, Daniel will start another new label to release his latest productions.

As well as producing Daniel has also kept a busy dj schedule for the past 8 years. He has played many major venues throughout the world including Liquid Room/Tokyo (3), Lost/London, Rex Club/Paris, Limelight/New York (4), Redno5/Chicago, Nightown/Rotterdam, Nitsa/Barcelona (3), Tresor/Globus (>10), Weetamix/Geneva (2), Yellow/Tokyo, Rockets/Osaka, Staples/San Francisco to name a few. Daniel's dj gigs have brought him all over the world including every major US, German and Canadian city, Poland, Switzerland, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Italy, England, Scotland, France, Finland, Japan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, and the Netherlands. He currently has a residency at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt/Offenbach.

Sonja Moonear was born in the Swiss Mountains in autumn 78. At the young age of four, she got in touch with her 1st instrument: the piano. Aside her classical music studies, she was on the search for other musical styles. As a depeche mode and david bowie young teenage fan in the late 80's, she was a bit out of her time. With the wonderful discover of KLF, acid music sounds and Electro rhythmic she did while visiting underground and open-air parties all over Switzerland and Germany, she dived into the whirl of electronic music.

In the mid-nineteens, when the rave syndroma turned into a tasteless carnival, she devoted herself to weird parties organizations in several Geneva's squats during 3 years alongside the Mentalgroove crew. From djing to cleaning the floor after the chaos. At this time she gives up her piano studies for a new bought Roland R8, starts to get professional bookings (Weetamix, Usine...) and to search for silence.

She began the new century teaming up with amazing friends. Miss Kittin opened her the doors, while Weetamix gave her a residency alongside Luciano. During one night in Tokyo, she played after dj Hell who decided to take her on the Gigolo roster. Musically speaking, she was not on the same side, but she got many opportunities to play her sound in various cities around the globe (including nice shots from Sweden to Brazil).

After several collaborations with artist- friends (Serafin, Dandy Jack…) and crews (Mutek Chile, Soap System Istanbul, Cosmic Chile Zürich), Sonja starts a new live/dj project named Junction SM in 2004 alongside DandyJack. It consists on an impressive combination of live and dj sessions that lasts for hours. She did several solo-live sets like in august 04 for the Overground festival. Devoted to her studio, she continues to manipulate sounds and silences…

Today, the label/collective ruta5 is under reconstruction and a bunch of label parties are organized. A remix for legendary band T21 will appear in summer on Productions spéciales. Junction SM next release is ready to be listened on Kalk Pets, and Sonja's solo one on Karat.

Funzion / E.Bridge. (lomidhigh lmtd. / sushitech / telegraph / Argentina)

Alejandro Mosso. Born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1983. He has been studying
guitar and music theory since he was 14.

Alejandro started his musical career playing guitar in postpop bands. He
began working with electronic music at the age of 17 in the duet Ampec
(idm, clicks and cuts, ambient). Ampec has played live all over across
Argentina and has released tracks for Zensible Rec and Igloo Rec. With
Ampec, Alejandro Mosso, turned into a forerunner in experimental
electronic music in the country.

In 2003 he started working in his solo project Funzion, which combines the
production techniques of idm and clicks and cuts with the rhythmical forms
of techno and microhouse. Funzion´s minimal techno is tricky, warm and
energetic. This make his music suitable for both, club and home listening.

In 2006 makes his first european tour playing all along Europe: Madrid,
Amsterdam, London, Cologne, Berlin, Groningen, Barcelona, Paris, Turín,
Genova, Krakow, Torun and Copenhagen

Under the name of Funzion he has already signed tracks for Telegraph
Records (France), Alphahouse (USA), Lo Mid High (Denmark), Sushitech (UK),
Igloo (Argentina), Sinergy Networks (Spain), Thinner (Germany), Zensible
Records (Argentina), Noiselab (Mexico) and Filtro (Mexico) .

Now he has created a new alias to work in the Sushitech family: E. Bridge.
Alias used for the most percussive and organic tracks.

He also works in sound edition, production and post-production for
comercial videos, besides studying at the university.

Gurtz (lomidhigh lmtd. / einmaleins / telegraph / Argentina)

Gurtz, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, approached electronic and digital
music towards the end of the 90s through the use of different software of
production, edition and audio sequencing on PC.

During his residence in Cordoba (1999 2003) he studied classical music
and composition at the U.N.C but at the same time he explored different
genres from ambient to minimal, via idm, downtempo, and electroacoustic
music. He performs live in various events, and is gradually bringing his
sound to the dance floor and to modern electronic music.

In 2004 he moved to Buenos Aires and entered the National University of
Quilmes to study Electroacoustic Composition.

Since 2005 Gurtz has been releasing his music on labels like Einmaleins
(Ger), Telegraph (Fr.), Alphahouse (USA), Roman Photo (FR), Clevermusic
(UK) Lomidhigh Lmtd. (DK) and more.

His live and dj sets have been heard in Argentina, Spain, France, Germany,
Belgium and Italy. His current direction is combining sounds and textures
of experimental music with the groove and energy of minimal tecno for the
dance floor. He is also promoting some differents musical genres and
artists through his net label www.naturalmedia.com.ar
