If you thought the Summer of love was over then guess again as Wax presents a series of cutting edge electronic music events throughout the Summer combining art, visual and music in a mosaic of sound and light. The first in a series of 9 exclusive cutting-edge warehouse events, Wax will be bringing together some of the world’s hottest DJs and VJs together with performance art and music at The Shoreditch Warehouse, throughout the summer. The parties will marry forward-thinking electronic music to stunning visual installations, with leading AV talent like Coldcut’s VJ of choice Mox already on board, as well as local artists who will be creating a breathtaking mural on the ceiling to create a highly stimulating environment.

Over the coming months, world-renowned DJs such as Dan Ghenacia, Pier Bucci, DINKY, Serge Santiago (We Love…Sundays) and Sasse (Mood Music) will descend upon The Shoreditch Warehouse for this innovative series of events. This unique space will be demolished after the summer, and Wax will be providing the last chance to experience this excellent venue that has been used by the likes of Tenax, ISSST, Trailer Trash, Mulletover, and DDD over the past year to host some of the capital’s most acclaimed parties.

This debut event sees Parisian Freak ‘n’ Chic stalwart Shonky headline, bringing his seedy blend of glitchy minimal filth to the party, with Micro-Fibres label boss Mark Antona presenting a live set of off-kilter techno, and warm deep grooves from Crack & Speed man Tim Paris as well. Meanwhile Mox will be twisting the crowd’s brain with captivating visuals displayed on an enormous cinema style screen, also relayed through old school ‘70s TV sets. In short, there’s nothing else quite Wax in London.
