well music politics and personalities aside, jay is making some great music and collaborating with some top names on all of his labels. he also spins a mean set of some very deep twisted minimal trax.

the new kitty yo stuff is different to his previous stuff as well as anyone elses...but that ain't a bad thing

seriously down with his dub surgeon stuff as well - killer remixes recently..and maybe an album coming at some point soon on future dub

back to the other stuff though... i'm now very curious about this article as i live in london and we don't get the magazine over here..can anyone expand at all?

i'd love to read the article too, but haven't seen it here in minneapolis.

I can respect this artist for his releases, even if i dont use them all as a 'tool' in my dj sets -- you still have to appreciate his sound, which are by far unique and like no other.

As for his words on other artists, depending on how he spewed them out, we are all entitled to our own opinions. Now because I cant read German either, I cannot really provide an honest opinion on the way he delivered his thoughts and/or feelings towards these particular artists. So I cant say much.

But fact is fact, not everyone is going to like you or what you do -- and i think its totally fine to vocalize and express what you feel -- just ensure its in a respectful manner.
