How come you wanted one partition instead of a couple?plaster wrote:yea man, i tried, but it didn't quite work as i expected. later on after fiddling for 10 minutes i managed to figure something out and slit the partitions into two exact halfs restarted and went to reinstall XP, deleted both and they merged into one whole. problem done. lolsvenlito wrote:just dont do it!
Just interested as i was about to reformat the laptop and do 2/3 partitions (OS, audio apps, serato).
cuz i bought an external one, so i decided to leave one just for system thingies. i figured out that the tc electronics konnekt soundcard needed more than enuff system space for it to work properly. right now i got 200 gigs for audio purposes...all good.digitalbunny wrote:How come you wanted one partition instead of a couple?plaster wrote:yea man, i tried, but it didn't quite work as i expected. later on after fiddling for 10 minutes i managed to figure something out and slit the partitions into two exact halfs restarted and went to reinstall XP, deleted both and they merged into one whole. problem done. lolsvenlito wrote:just dont do it!
