producers not performing.

hi all ppl..

a simple question: what do you think about producers who not dj or perform? ..people who only have their releases out..
have you got some names (maybe some of you here in this board) of those "studio maniacs"?

but, in general... are you more producer, dj or whatever?

I often entertain myself with the idea of taking up djing again (did some gigs back in the early noughties, when vinyl was king), but apart from that, I'm strictly a producer*

*playing around with Buzz or FL Studio whenever I can free up some time...

Studio rat here.

For me, studio work and playing music (any kind) live is two different ballgames.

I will start concentrating on live, dancefloor stuff this summer though.

I'd like to get a band back too... the real stuff.
