hi, my friend want to know if there's any way to extract the voice from a tune, like filtering or something like that.

sorry if there's a topic about this but i search and it didn't appears.

sometimes you can, sometimes you cant, depending on the recording.

on many hip-hop tracks' verses, the vocal is stereo and everything else is mono. in a case like this you can convert the signal to MS, and derive only the stereo information (the difference between L and R).

I'm not going to say it's impossible because it is possible, BUT, it won't be clean or HiQ whatsoever, unless it's hip-hop as mentioned above.

Filtering, EQing, Phasing ect should do a little job but you'll still hear the track in the background.

Yea I was searching for long time to try and do what you are saying and there is no real good answer out there on how to do it, atleast not a good one ive found.

It's very hard and depends soley on the track..

it won't be hi quality acapella type
