some waves not working in SSL

Post by northernlight »

I just installed the latest scratch live release on my MacBook Pro.
Then i used the "read itunes" function to import my itunes library to scratch live.

now some of the wave files are not working. They show that broken itunes logo in scratch live.

The waves where bought from beatport or from my cd collection.

What could the problem be?

Uhm... I think if you import it in a daw host and "convert" it to something else (say, aiff) it works. As long as you render a new file.

iTunes is stinking fucking sh!t.

found the problems. it's not itunes, but ableton live.

waves direct from live do not work. when i load them into itunes, and convert them wo wave again, it works.

according to the serato support it's some strange stuff live packs into it's files.

The best bet for Serato support is to check their forum, they have the best support around! hit up scratchlive.net

If you don't want to do that then get in contact with that Todd Konix dude that has been posting about final scratch vs serato in the general forum ... he's a regular over at scratchlive.net and knows shitloads about DVS products.
