12"-14"
12"-14"
Thanks again for everyones response to my last thread. New question. Is a 12" monitor enough visually?
for e-mail checking, sure. for production, nah, but 14" won't be enough neither for that. you will want to buy a 12" laptop for convenient carrying around AND a dvi to vga adapter to be able to attach any old pc screen in the studio. in case you shouldn't own one, a crt screen u got for very few $ these days (on auction sites especially)
if you mean for live acts, most artists use the 15" powerbook, so if it's enough for them to see ableton, it should be for you too

I don't know anything about your last thread...
i would go with 15 inch
however that conclusion only came from my own personal comfort.
i found / felt that the 17 inch was too big and bulky for a laptop...
however some my feel that is perfect for them...
either way 15 is a nice medium in my opinion...
compare prices, go to the store(s) several times ....i'm sure you will be drawn to one sooner or later...lol.
best of luck with you shopping...
