Audio render in Ableton

Post by markenstien »

Heya guys,

Another question for you now, this time its about rendering audio in ableton.

Each time i render out my track, instead of it sounding how I make it within ableton it comes out sounding muffled and bass heavy! Any ideas as to why this is, anyone else have this problem? What settings are people using?

Its really beggining to drive me insane!!

Cheers for any help :)

look sometimes it happens to me...what i do is try to get most of every channel volumes...then try to give every sound its place...so every sound won´t be fighting against each other....then try to change bass frequencies so you can get powerful basses without killing other sounds....just try get the volume you´re looking for...then if you can´t get it...try with frequencies...most of the times is just frequencies that are not in right place, equalize things according with highs, midhighs, midbasses and basses also according with each frequencies.
i hope this can work for you!

resample it instead... make a new track and route the outputs from other tracks into it, arm it for recording and record it. It will sound the same.

Yeah, i'll have to give resample a go, i spend alot of time on my EQ's and levels so its very frustrating when you render out and its sounds nothing like what you've spent ages to do!

I usually render each track out of ableton to use in Reaper.

There isnt a way of doing this automatically is there?
