oooops i just see now that the three models on the page are sold with windows vista!
i personnaly would avoid vista for the moment, but it is up to you to decide :?

Yeah, i noticed this too, but you can choose to have them installed with xp instead :)

then i would suggest to take the xp option
it will keep more resources available for your audio and video applications

Yeah definately, dont wanna get stuck with a buggy vista and find nothing works on it. The main reason i'm going with windows and not apple is so i can have more options with the software i use! Getting vista would kinda make the whole idea pointless i think :P

AS much as i love and support AMD, the new intel mobile ships are much better at this stage.

Better power consumption being the main advantage...

use intel, they are just faster :-) if you got some time, wait for the summer, intel got a pretty nice roadmap with a lots of power and low prices.
