Free glitch samples

Post by Ruso »

I was messing with some electronics last night and today hooked them up and recorded some samples. There are 52 samples but I accidentally have two that have copies(oops).

It'd be great if mnml.nl staff could upload it to this server so people can download them easier.

Anyways these are free to use any way you want to but I'd sure love to hear what people come up with :)

I put together a basic no effects demo pattern with a kick, hat, and a simple bassline to show what you can do with them...

read up on circuit bending I actually recently saw a topic in this very forum about circuit bending. Its simple all you need is basic soldering skills and something that produces sound(that's preferably battery operated to prevent it from frying)... then grab some wires and start poking arround creating shorts in the circuitry... eventually it will create cool sounds...

so it is totally random? nice.
I quite like it in some way when you do not have any control on the sound the machine is doing... to get fresh sounds it's the best.
that's why I like the randomize function in reaktor
