Jesse James - One Chicago Night [hazywakening]

Post by jessejames »

Hello, Guten Tag, and buenos dias to everyone. Another cornerstone in the No Affiliation crew from Chicago here. Please...enjoy.

Jesse James moves forward with a daring multi-mix series dubbed, One Chicago Night; following your exploits throughout the course of one evening in the Windy City. Part one, the aptly named [hazywakening], rouses you from your fitful afternoon slumber, naked in someone else's bed and having no recollection of the previous night's mischief. Waking from this psychedelic haze, you breathe deep and step out into the unknown wonder of life, not knowing what awaits you...

Indeed Sneaky.

It has a very long synth break (1.5 minutes or more) and I definitely couldn't include the whole break in the mix. I mixed the breaks together to shorten it to 2 measures.

The break is neat, it really catches you by surprise, but the full length of it detracts from the overall feeling of the mix. I almost didn't include it. Initially I was going to mix it out early. However I felt it gave the mix a nice wake up call and pushed it in a different direction.

Also the Loco track was edited. I cut out about 2 minutes of it.
