red sound - sound bite micro

Post by Audio Dependent »

does anyone have any experience with these http://www.redsound.com/products/soundbitemicro? they don't seem to be available in any of the shops i use. is that because they don't really work, or have they stopped making them? i can see it being alot of fun...

cool - cheers mate. will be my next purchase. aswell as the obvious audio uses, i want it to give me a midi clock to sync live midi sequenced visuals to an audio out from the dj. so for that purpose it doesn't need to hit every beat.

i bought that on december from decks

i must admit i was a bit sceptical in the beginning, i thought (if this not gonna work for syncing ableton. i'll use it as an audio loop)

but i was wrong... that's exactly what you need to keep your live on beat with your vinyls..

don't expect it's gonna do all the jon for you.. but the cool thing is that he gives you everything you need to keep them onbeat provided you have good beatmatching skills. The play, pause, stop and pitchbend buttons are really useful.

Sharing a tip: if the audio loop lenght don't get memorized when your battery runs down, maybe you got an old firmware. write to redsound and they will send you software and firmware to upgrade. They were really nice and fast with me.
