With an emphasis on live performance, dug is heavily infuenced by the music produced by record labels such as tresor, basic channel and m-nus among others. Ekwal's second release, a 3 track e.p. entitled the 'tokyo e.p.' is dug's first attempt to contain his frantic live style into a few tracks. The Tokyo e.p. develops from a laid back opener to a more intense delivery of minimal techno. Thanks to John McCaig at PanicStudios for his mastering skills!
